Non-anesthetic Dental Care Options

Non-anesthetic dental care is an option to consider if your dog or cat qualifies. Non-anesthetic dental procedures will assist in keeping tartar under control, and make your pet's teeth easier to clean.

We recommend non-anesthetic dental cleanings as a preventive service to have in between your pet’s annual SCVG Pet Dental deep-cleaning - it is not a subsitute for annual anesthetic cleanings and exams. Your pet’s annual anesthetic deep-cleaning exams are important because we are able to get under the gumline, which cannot always be accomplished with non-anesthetic dentals while your pet is awake.

We schedule non-anesthetic dental cleanings on specified days at our Lake Elsinore and Murrieta locations only.

Non-anesthetic dental cleanings done at our hospitals are performed by Animal Dental Care, provider of anesthesia-free dental care for over 20 years. They have established a solid reputation among a network of over 300 veterinarians for their professionalism and gentle, compassionate way with animals.

Advanced Dental Care Services

We perform a wide variety of advanced dental treatments, including oral surgery. The need for these treatments is often found during your pet's annual wellness exam or basic dental cleaning. Your veterinarian will explain all treatment options to you in advance, including prognosis, after-care, and anticipated costs, allowing you to make the best decisions for you and your pet.

The advanced dental treatment plan and estimated costs will vary depending on a variety of factors, inluding severity of the issue, type of treatment, pet's age, and general health. Each case is differnent - your doctor will discuss options with you in detail, and we welcome you to ask any questions you may have.
