Coronavirus (COVID-19) Info

At this time, all SCVG Hospitals will remain open.

We are here to serve you and your pets.

The current situation regarding COVID-19 is stressful and at the forefront of our minds.

The health and wellbeing of our patients, clients, and staff is of the utmost importance to us.

We want to provide an update on the actions we are taking to ensure your pet is able to get the care they need during this trying time, while still ensuring the full commitment to our clients and staff safety.

We are increasing the frequency of our cleaning and disinfecting; Focusing on frequently touched surfaces, using products known to be effective against viral pathogens.

During this time we are very flexible with our cancellation policy. Coronavirus can spread in the very early stages (early cough, low-grade fever, sore throat), so if you aren't feeling quite yourself, just let us know at any time prior to your appointment, and stay home to take care of yourself.

Our small and close-knit staff is committed to staying home with any sign of illness.  Please be patient if we are short on staff as those of us with small children will need to adjust to school closures.

We are currently asking clients to call from the parking lot when they arrive for curbside service. Please expect and plan for a longer appointment time for these necessary adjustments.

Utilizing curbside service, we can also fill medications and food requests over the phone, and will be happy to deliver these to clients as they wait in their cars. As a reminder, we do request a 24 hour time period for prescription refills.

Drop-off appointments are another way to help us reduce exposure for one another.  We are encouraging drop-off appointments, but they are not mandatory at this time.

Telemedicine appointments are being offered and encouraged for basic examination and recheck appointments. With Telemedicine, clients are able to have a phone or video call with a doctor for an assessment of their pet.

For us at Southern California Veterinary Group, these feel like positive action steps we can take to help get closer to the end of this crisis, and lessen its impact on our wonderful communities.
